Anti-Adipogenesis Activity of Cirpusins®

Cirpusins® treatment resulted in a dose-dependent reduction in lipid accumulation in 3T3 L1 fibroblast cells without affecting cell viability. The reduction in adipogenesis was associated with reduced levels of

  • Transcripts for peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ)
  • Adipocyte protein 2/adipocyte fatty acid-binding protein (aP2) (Figure 1)
