Cirpusins® is prepared from the dried rhizomes of Cyperus rotundus, standardized to contain a minimum of 6% total identified stilbenes (Piceatannol, Scirpusin A, and Scirpusin B).
Clinical studies suggest that Cirpusins® may support weight management efforts in individuals with higher body weights. Additional observed effects included improvements in lipid profile. In a research setting involving a high-fat diet model, Cirpusins® demonstrated potential in weight management, along with observations of balanced lipid levels and other related markers. In-vitro cell studies also indicated Cirpusins®’ potential role in adipogenesis modulation in vitro.
